Being nice to people is easier said than done. Getting through the day at work, during your workout, or whatever you are doing can be difficult enough. Let along having to go out of your way to smile at strangers and say the words "please" and "thank you." However, being nice makes people feel good about themselves and even sets you on the path to better relationships. Also, think about the fact that it also helps you get what you want from people, since they are more willing to help you out if you're nice to them. Learn how to be nice. Anyone can do it. I hope that you like it.
1. Smile
Smiling in general is always good. When you see someone you know or when you are walking down the street. Smiling will make people see you as a nice guy. You, in turn, will be much happier. When you smile, your brain automatically believes you are having fun. And you will seem nice.
2. Stay Positive
Try not to have any negative views on life. When you do that people will think you are a negative person and you may become negative. Always have a positive view on life, which can be hard at times, but you will be positive.
3. "How Do You Feel?"
Ask your friends how they feel when you see them and really care about what they say. If they are feeling down, try to cheer them up. Try to make them believe that just by them being around you there troubles of life will go away for a while.
4. Don't Forget to Say Goodbye
Always say goodbye to your friends when you are getting ready to leave. No one likes anyone who just goes and leaves without saying anything. People will start getting ideas in there head when they do. It's always nice to say goodbye no matter how said that my be to not see them for a while. 5. Make 'em Laugh
Make sure to laugh when something is funny. If your friends say something funny make sure you laugh. It shows that you are listening to them and a nice person. People like someone who listens to them.
6. Don't Be Nosy
Ask people if they are doing well.. If you can, take some time to ask a person how things are progressing in their lives, without being too inquisitive. If they seem hesitant to talking, don't try to encourage that person to say more than they need to say.
7. Try Not To Discriminate
Don't differentiate between people you encounter. Attempt to be just as nice to everyone you meet. Even if you're nice to your friends, teachers, or family, but you aren't nice to people who from your perspective seem as popular or cool, you may not be as nice as you could be.
